Bill Cosby has been found guilty on all charges in a trial stemming from his 2004 sexual assault of Andrea Constand. A Pennsylvania jury found the 80-year-old comedian guilty on three counts of aggravated indecent assault on Thursday, April 26. The accuser, a former Temple University employee, claimed the funnyman drugged and assaulted her at his home in the state. The jurors deliberated for almost 15 hours over two days before announcing the verdict.Other alleged victims of Cosby’s sexual misconduct cheered in court when the guilty verdict was announced, while the comic sat forward on the edge of his chair, showing little emotion. Constand reportedly received $3.38 million from Cosby after settling a case in 2006. The settlement amount had not been made public before the trial. Judge Steven O’Neill has yet to announce a date for sentencing, but state law requires it within 100 days of a conviction. A prior jury was deadlocked and the judge declared a mistrial. The 80-year-old The Cosby Show star faces up to 30 years in prison. The guilty verdict comes almost two and a half years after Cosby was first charged in December, 2015. Cosby can appeal the verdict. An appeal could take years. More tan 50 women, including Janice Dickinson, Heidi Thomas, Janice Baker-Kinney, Lise-Lotte Lublin, and Chelan Lasha, have come forward to accuse Cosby of spiking their drinks and having his way with them.
